$The Red Hand of Ulster in the middle of this mural and in most of the murals is predominantly a Loyalist symbol but is also used by the Catholics as well. One of the only symbols used by both fractions. Legend has it that 2 chieftains were racing across the water to claim the land. In a bid to lay first claim, one of the chieftains chopped off his right hand and threw it ashore. Not the most peaceful way to start a nation$
